This one is a spin on the Grouchy Ladybug by Eric Carle. Six Little Ladybugs features friendly ladybugs who want to play! After reading the Grouchy Ladybug, if you want to talk about friendship and what the ladybug could have done differently, this reader is perfect! Great for comparing. Simple, easy to read text.
I also threw in a little math. The reader was begging for a little plus 1 addition activity so it's included! 1+1, 2+1, 3+1, you get the idea. Great for teaching about adding 1 more. This download offers lots of bang for the buck! Here is what you get:
