Valentine's Day is this week and I thought I'd share what I planned for my kiddos in community. We're reading There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Rose by Lucille Colandro. We're also practicing matching letter to initial sounds and rhyming words:
Next we will do some color matching:
We will also talk about how 12= 1 dozen. We will count out 1-12 roses (silk) into labeled plastic cups (vases). Labels are included FREE in the lesson plan.
