Welcome back to another school year! First off; I pray that each and every one of you have an amazing year! I've met all of my kiddos; and I have a HUGE range to deal with this year. If this is your 1st time visiting my blog; WELCOME! I am an early interventionist; I teach students with special needs; and I am itinerant. Today I am here to share what I put together for this upcoming week for my 3 year olds. Here's what I've come up with:
I put together this very simple picture schedule. If they can get through all 4 of these things that will be great! If not; each student will do what they can and we will work up to it over time.
Picture Schedule (3 year olds)
I chose this story because it is hands on and it gives busy little hands something to do to help them engage:
Next; I want them to engage in 1 or more given tasks. I chose object to picture matching using toys; a red and yellow color sort; and a craft using pre-cut shapes.

Once they are done with their tasks; they get to choose. I made a Free Choice board using a lot of Cause & Effect toys with the exception of Mr. Potato Head and Magnetic Blocks. I included a prompt to encourage speech:

That's all I have for now. I've included the templates for the Picture Schedule, Tasks, and Choice Board HERE. If you would like the pattern for the craft; it is a FREE DOWNLOAD in my TpT store; just click on the photo.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read my post. Have a happy and blessed school year!
